Dantalion Jones – Mind Control Hypnosis: What All The Other Hypnotists Don’t Want You To Know About Hypnosis [PDF]
Most hypnotists will tell you “You can’t be made to do something in hypnosis that is against your Will.” Most of them actually believe it. But a few of the most experienced hypnotists simply say it to put people at ease. They know that, in the right hands, very few people can resist a skilled hypnotist. Skilled hypnotists know what it takes to resist suggestions and it’s not what most people would think. Reason #1 – Because they don’t want others to have the power they have. In spite of what they may want you to believe hypnotists are human beings. They have egos and ambitions just like everyone else. A lot of hypnotists discover something that works really well and they’ll want to keep it to themselves. Reason #2 – Because it frightens away clients who believe they have some sort of Will Power. For most people real Will Power is a myth, a story, even a fantasy. Facing this truth, for most people, is a humbling experience.
“Not for the faint hearted”
“Be warned Mind Control Hypnosis is not for the faint hearted or for those wearing rose tinted glass about the use of hypnosis and mind control. Dantalion gives it to you with refreshing honesty and a no holds barred approach.
Despite having been practicing hypnosis formally for many years I learned an amazing amount from Mind Control Hypnosis. I was particularly impressed with first half of the book which contains theory, advice and specific practical steps that you can apply in any hypnotic practice. The second half contains complete transcripts with Dantalion’s commentary. Again even if you don’t share the author’s applications there is a huge amount that any hypnotist can benefit from.
Mind Control Hypnosis is written in a practical way with lots of good ideas that are easily transposed to your own hypnotic practice and is a good read for novice and expert hypnotist alike.” –Rintu Basu, Author of The Persuasion Skills Black Book, www.theNLPcompany.com
“a must read, re-read and re-read again”
Finally! Finished reading Mind Control Hypnosis. It is a fantastically written piece of work. I have read hundreds of books on hypnosis, NLP mind control, etc. And when I find a book that is clear, concise, free of fluff it gets added to my “A” list.
This will definitely be a book I will not only refer to over and over again it will be one that I refer to any all of my students and clients. With all of the inductions and explanations this book is a must read, re-read and re-read again.
“An honest, in your face guide…”
“Dantalion Jones is a brave man. Mind Control Hypnosis is a usable manual of hypnosis that covers the practical techniques of direct suggestion, and includes forbidden techniques such as the Seal, various methods of manipulation, and expands upon his earlier work on mind control. Where some hypnotherapists claim you can not make people do something against their will, Jones is more honest and relates this claim back to the strength of a person’s will. This is an honest, in your face guide to direct suggestion and directed hypnosis encompassing practical therapeutic methods as well as manipulation techniques. Like a breath of fresh air, Jones’s Mind Control Hypnosis gives you the straight scoop even if it is not the party line.”
From the Back Cover
The Unspoken Hypnosis Myth: No one can make you do anything against your will … if you had one.
If the human Will were so strong why would people need coaches, psychologists, clergy or hypnotists? The fact remains that “Will Power” for most people is weak and easy to exploit. That is a GOOD THING if your job is helping people change.
Author, lecturer and hypnotist, Dantalion Jones, reveal the “secrets” that hypnotists use to get past even the strongest willed people. These are secrets that only a few hypnotists are willing to talk about.

As with most of the books I’ve written, I will attempt to exploit the reader’s sincere and sometimes twisted interest in mind control and, in this case, specifically hypnosis.
For many there has long existed a romance with being able to talk someone into a lethargic and robotic state in which they will do things without any personal inhibition. The mind runs wild with possibilities. Many a child’s juvenile fantasies for power and control have been fueled by witnessing a performing hypnotist at the county fair.
But theory and reality seldom come into a perfect convergence, and this holds true of hypnosis as well. However, my many years of doing hypnosis in various settings helped prove to me several things that most hypnotists will work fervently to deny or to explain away as myth. I suspect this is because most hypnotists have never dedicated themselves to testing the limits of the hypnotic arts. They have likely been subjected to narrow minded training that indoctrinated them to work within rigid constraints, and therefore hold limited ideas of what’s possible.
While it is wise to understand what these limits are, I’ve never found a benefit to blindly accepting them. The power of hypnosis is underrated because the power of the mind is underrated. The mind can decide to control its breathing, heart beat, blood pressure and other things that were once thought to be involuntary.
Studying, learning and practicing hypnosis and related skills like NLP have been passions for me and, were I to die today, I could say have played a major part in the “great work” of my life.
I’d like to point out that this book will talk specifically about the authoritarian style of hypnosis, as opposed to the permissive style of hypnosis made famous by Milton Erickson.
Authoritarian hypnosis is what people are used to seeing when they go to a hypnosis show, and is what they are most familiar with from TV and media. It is an overt style of hypnosis where the hypnotist and subject have both agreed upon their roles. The subject agrees from the onset to follow the hypnotist’s suggestions, and the hypnotist agrees to keep the subject safe and offer good healthy suggestions.
Many people have made powerful claims about how someone can be covertly hypnotized to do things. Even I have written on this subject (see my book Mind Control Language Patterns.) Let me make it clear that this book has none of that. You’ll be exposed to techniques and methodologies some would consider “sneaky,” but none of it is covert.
And so in this book I intend to explain what I’ve learned doing hypnosis on people who know they are going to be hypnotized. A portion of this book is likely to be new, profane and even sacrilege. I make no apology if a few icons fall during these heresies. I seek only to tell what I’ve discovered. Let us not forget that Galileo and Charles Darwin were also heretics.
In this book I’ll explain the theory and application of my experience in the art of hypnosis. This will include how hypnosis relates to the concept of mind control, and a sincere look at the so-called “myths” of hypnosis. It will uncover a shocking look at the concept of the human will, and a new but meaningful definition of hypnosis. The details of the hypnotic experience will be described, beginning at the setting used for hypnosis, the preparation for hypnosis, and what to say. Lastly, you’ll be given the specific hypnotic scripts that have been used to create positive and dramatic change in others.
For the neophyte this book is designed to inform. For the experienced hypnotist it may inform and also surprise.
I work as a lecturer and author on the field of mind control. My training is in hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and persuasion.
I often tell the story of being a child of 10 and seeing the hypnotist at the county fair and realizing that I could do what he did… and wanting to do it. That was the start.
Years have past since then and it still seems my journey has only started. I’ve lectured, had a full time hypnosis practice, worked with the homeless and written oodles of books.
One of my greatest joy is being one of the invisible people who casts stones into the river of time and alters the course of history. Another joy is being around people who don’t judge you.
